Calling all Snow Getters: Afton Alps Opening Day Announcement & Hours!

Snowmaking magic + Mother Nature = perfect conditions coming your way kick off the season, Snow Getters! We’ve refilled the pond, worked through some adjustments, and are taking full advantage of this prime snowmaking window through Thursday morning to set up an awesome start to the season.

We’re cranking out snow all week and plan to add even more terrain for the big day. Stay tuned for updates—and get ready to make first tracks!

• Opening Day Details:
  • Hours: 3 PM – 9 PM
  • Lifts: Chairs 4 & 5, Alps Carpet, West LZ Tow Rope
  • Trails: Nancy’s Nursery, Teresa’s Trail, West LZ Terrain Park
  • Food & Beverage Options:
    • Alps Cafe
    • Paul's Pub
    • LZ Bar (5-8pm)
  • Alps Retail: 1pm-8:30pm
  • Alps Rental: 2:30pm-9pm
  • Guest Services: 1pm-9pm
  • Ski School: Private Lessons available
